CVD

CVD (chemical vapour deposition) is a relatively new product which has gained popularity. Polycrystalline CVD is used in a variety of applications: thermal management in heat sinks, mechanical process such as precision cutting, electrical conductivity for surface electronic devices, wear-resistant parts, dressing tools and scalpels.

Pinnacle Abrasives supplies CVD in 2 types (CVD-P and CVD-D) for cutting, dressing and other applications:

*CVD-P: made in free-standing plates which are laser cut into a wide variety of shapes and sizes. They may be custom cut to meet customers’ requirements. Characterized by its high strength and excellent thermal conductivity.

*CVD-D: a yellow/brown, semi-transparent diamond which is laser cut and sized to shape, and may be custom cut to meet customers’ requirements. Characterized by its high strength and excellent thermal conductivity.
